저희 유초등부는 매주일 K-5학년 학생들과 모여 하나님께 마음과 정성을 다해 예배를 드리고 말씀을 배우며 삶 속에서 하나님을 더욱 사랑하고 이웃을 사랑하며 함께 자라나는 곳입니다.
저희 교회 비전센터에 들어오시면 왼쪽 벽에 역대하 7장 성경구절이 적혀있습니다. 솔로몬이 성전을 지은 후, 기도하였을때 여호와께서 에게 나타나셔서 하신 말씀입니다.
“내가 이미 네 기도를 듣고 이 곳을 택하여 내게 제사하는 성전을 삼았으니 내 이름으로 일컫는 내 백성이 그들의 악한 길에서 떠나 스스로 낮추고 기도하여 내 얼굴을 찾으면 내가 하늘에서 듣고 그들의 죄를 사하고 그들의 땅을 고칠지라 이제 이 곳에서 하는 기도에 내가 눈을 들고 귀를 기울이리니이는 내가 이미 이 성전을 택하고 거룩하게 하여 내 이름을 여기에 영원히 있게 하였음이라 내 눈과 내 마음이 항상 여기에 있으리라” 이 말씀처럼 저희 아이들이 어린나이일 때부터 하나님을 찾고 기도하며 죄를 회개하고 우리의 죄를 용서하시고 생명을 주신 예수님께 감사드리고 남은 삶 속에서 성령님을 의지하여 말씀에 순종하며 하나님 안에서 목적과 꿈을 찾아 주신 달란트를 하나님 나라를 위해 살아 세상의 빛과 소금이 되길 기도합니다.

Kids Blog-"Don't be afraid, just believe."
In this week's Bible story, kids learned that Jesus healed a bleeding woman and raised a girl from the dead!
Bible Story: Jesus raises a dead girl and heals a sick woman Mark 5:21-43
Bible verse: He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering." Mark 5:34
Last week, we heard a story about Jesus' power over evil. Jesus healed and restored a demon-possessed man. When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around him. One of the synagogue leaders, named Jairus came and when he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet. He pleaded earnestly with him, "My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live." So Jesus went with him. There was a large crowd following and pressing around him. There was a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years. She went to see many doctors and spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, "If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed." Immediately, her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering! Jesus realized that power had gone out from him, he turned around and asked "Who touched my clothes?" The woman fell at his feet and trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."
While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus and said, "Your daughter is dead, why bother the teacher anymore?' But Jesus said, "Don't be afraid, just believe." When they came to Jairus' home, people were crying and wailing loudly. Jesus said to them, "Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep." But they laughed at him. Jesus went in where the child was. He took her by the hand and said to her, "Tabitha koum!" which means "little girl, I say to you, get up!" Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around!
Now there are a couple of things to point out from this miraculous story. Yes, Jesus healed both a woman and raised a dead girl. Jesus healed a woman that has been suffering from bleeding for twelve years. She recognized that none of the resources and money could resolve her situation. She acknowledged that Jesus was her only hope and humbly fell at Jesus' feet. Same with the dead girl's father, Jairus. Even though he was one of the synagogue leaders, in a respectable and high position, he came and fell at Jesus' feet. Their postures and actions indicate that they surrendered everything they had and humbly came to Jesus and trusted in Him to heal and set them free from their suffering and sickness. This woman, the Bible tells us even though she was under care of many doctors, instead of getting better, things got worse. But when she touched Jesus' clothes, her bleeding immediately stopped! If the state of her medical condition was improving at the time she met Jesus, this story may make more sense even with our limited human understanding and perspective. But she was getting worse, yet she was completely set free from her sickness by the power of Jesus! Same with Jairus' daughter, if she was still sick, laying in bed by the time Jesus arrived to heal her, we would probably think that she still has a tiny bit of chance to recover. But that wasn't the case. She was dead when Jesus came to the house of Jairus! Jesus raised her from death. This shows that Jesus has supernatural power and authority that overcome even death, time, space, and any kind of suffering and diseases. His power is beyond our understanding. And He does not just heal us physically. He also heals us spiritually by dying on the cross for our sins and forgiving us. This week, let's pray for those who are sick and hurting physically, mentally and spiritually and let's also ask God to reveal Himself to them so they may know and believe that there is God who love unconditionally and forgive our sins.
